Dhaka, May 16: The ruling Awami League (AL) has permanently expelled former general secretary of the party’s Gazipur city unit Mohammad Jahangir Alam, reports BSS. 
Office Secretary of the Awami League Barrister Biplob Barua issued the statement in this regard on Monday afternoon.
Awami League expelled Jahangir Alam permanently as per the party’s central committee constitution.
The decision will come in effect immediately.
