Khulna, Nov 08: A court in Khulna has sentenced six people to death in a case filed for raping a child in Sonadanga Bihari Colony area of the district.
The court also fined them Tk 20,000 each.
Besides, the court sentenced four other accused to jail on different terms in the case.
Judge Abdus Salam Khan of Khulna Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-3 delivered the verdict on Tuesday (November 8).
Farid Ahmed, the special public prosecutor of the court, confirmed the matter.
