Purnima, Ferdous injured while filming

Entertainment desk, Feb 10: Actors Ferdous and Purnima were injured in a motorbike accident on the set of movie ‘Gangchil’ at Companiganj upazila in Noakhali on Sunday morning.‘Gangchil,’ a novel written by Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, has been adapted into film by the director Nayeem Imtiaj Neyamul.

The director said they were given primary treatment after the incident took place at 10 am. They were brought to Noakhali Sadar Hospital in afternoon.

Purnima was driving a motorcycle keeping Ferdous of her behind while filming. At one stage, Purnima lost her control over it and they fell down, the director said.

The shooting of the movie began from February 6 at 8 no Char Elahi union in the upazila and will continue till February 12, the director added.
