Biman’s aircraft makes safe landing with technical glitch in Ctg

Desk report, Dec 02: A Dash-8 aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Aircraft made a safe emergency landing with 42 passengers and six crews following a technical glitch at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Wednesday night.

All the passengers and crew members are safe while the aircraft landed at the airport at 9:40 pm, Biman’s Md and CEO Dr Abu Saleh Mostofa Kamal told media here thanking the captain and crew members for their skills.

The Chattogram bound flight from Dhaka had a technical glitch with its nose landing gear (Wheel), he said here.

The aircraft hovered in the sky nearly 30 minutes before making the final approach for landing, Biman sources said.
