WB surrenders 2-car to customs intelligence


Dhaka, February 20: World Bank’s (WB) country office in Bangladesh on Monday surrendered its two vehicles before the Customs Intelligence Department.
The vehicles used by its two former officials were handed over to the Headquarters of Customs Intelligence on Monday.
The former officials are Mirva Tuulia of Finland and Mridula Singh of Indian.
The vehicles were allegedly being misused the tax free access.
Dr. Moinul Islam Khan, director general of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department, confirmed the news.
