War crime allegations against Osman, Musa being probed: ICT investigation coordinator


Dhaka, July 27: Investigations into the war crime allegations against BNP leader Dr Osman Faruk and controversial businessman Moosa bin Shamsher are going on.

It was stated by Sanaul Huque, senior coordinator of the investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), while addressing a press conference at the Dhanmondi office of the investigation agency on Thursday.

He, however, said that investigation into the war crimes allegation against former education minister and member of BNP’s advisory council Dr Osman Faruk is almost completed.

The press conference was arranged to disclose investigation reports against 16 people for their alleged war crimes in 1971. These 16 persons from Jessore and Sherpur are associated with the politics of Awami League, BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami. However, eight of them have been absconding.
