Special prayers offered seeking recovery of ailing Ershad

Dhaka, July 05: Special ‘doa’ (prayer) was offered at all mosques and other religious institutions across the country seeking recovery of ailing Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad.He is now undergoing treatment in city’s Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Doa was held at mosques across the country after Jumma prayers while prayers were held at temples, churches and pagodas in the morning seeking recovery of Ershad.

Jatiya Party acting chairman GM Quader, deputy leader of the opposition in parliament and Jatiya Party co-chairman Begum Rowshan Ershad and opposition chief whip and Jatiya Party secretary general Mashiur Rahman Ranga extended gratitude to the countrymen for praying for Ershad.
