Dhaka, April 30: Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin reelected for the third time as President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Saturday.
Salahuddin bagged 83 votes out of 134, while his nearest candidate president of ‘Bachao Football’ Quamrul Islam Khan Poton got only 50 votes.
However, the former footballer was elected president of the BFF, the country’s football controlling body, in its polls held at a city hotel.
This was the first time when 100 percent votes were cast in the BFF election. However, one vote was cancelled out of 134.
Meanwhile, BFF Senior Vice-President Abdus Salam Murshedy has been elected unopposed.
