Recovered bodies of hostages kept at CMH for postmortem


Dhaka, July 2: The bodies of hostages slaughtered at Holey Artisan Bakery in city’s Gulshan were taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Saturday afternoon, nine hours after commandos had rescued them by conducting `Operation Thunders Bolt`.

The bodies were taken to CMH by nine ambulances with foolproof security.

While transporting the dead bodies, ADC of Gulshan Police Station Mashiur Rahman announced that danger was not over yet. The concerned area is yet in danger. So, people’s moving will be restricted until the next announcement comes.

According to sources, the postmortem of the bodies will be on Sunday.

Twenty hostages, all foreigners, had been slaughtered by gunmen at the restaurant on Friday night.
