Ramiz Uddin Cantt College gets 5 buses


Dhaka, August 04: Five new buses have been handed over to the authorities of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College for students’ transportation on Saturday morning.Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan, chairman of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, handed over the buses on behalf of the Prime Minister to major general Ataul Karim Sarwar Hasan, Dhaka log area commander and chief patron of the school, in front of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) around 9:30am.

On July 29, two students- Abdul Karim, 16, and Diya, 15, of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College were killed when a speedy bus rammed them on Airport Road of the capital city.

The incident triggered mass protest among students and they have been continuing the demonstration in demand of safe roads and justice.
