Dhaka, November 17: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday said a non-party supportive government for the next elections will be established through a tough movement.“The upcoming general election must have to be held under a supportive government,” he said.
The spokesperson for the party came up with the assertion while talking to reporters after placing wreath the grave of Maolana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani this noon.
He added: “Otherwise, we will wage a tough movement to materialise the demand.”
“A repressive and oppressive government is hanging on to power forcibly,” Fakhrul said calling up on his party men to be united and wage a movement.
“We all will have to participate in the movement so that people can exercise their voting rights in the upcoming general election.”
Fakhrul along with a good number of leaders and activists of the party went to Santosh in Tangail and placed wreath at the grave of the legendary politician marking his 41st death anniversary.
