Police recovered bodies of three siblings in Brahmanbaria

Brahmanbaria, Mar 16: Police on Wednesday recovered bodies of three siblings, a day after they went missing, from Bemalia River at Chatalpar area under Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district.

The deceased were identified as Sultana, 7, Raja, 5, and Badsha, 4. Mother of the deceased children works in Lebanon, while their father works in Sylhet.

The children were lived in Ratanpur Purba Para with their aunty (father’s sister).

Confirming the news Abdul Quader, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nasirnagar Police Station, said the children were went missing after they had gone to the river for taking baths on Tuesday afternoon.

Family members could not find them even of their frantic searches. The following day (Wednesday), locals spotted the bodies floated in the river.

Being informed, police recovered the bodies, the OC added.
