New charitable organisation IFA obtains license

Dhaka, Feb 14: A new organization named ‘International Fraternity Association (IFA) got license from the ministry of commerce recently.

The main objective of the organization is to educate the distress and poor children across Bangladesh.

Some retired army person, journalist and lawyer including foreign friends involved with this organization.

“We want to help the poor children for their education. Normally we are providing educational expenses, free accommodation with food,” Selman Cakir, member secretary of IFA told themorningbellbd.com.

Replying to a query regarding educational system, he replied, “it depends student’s will. We admit the students as per their desire educational institutions.”

Many students are studying in RAJUK Uttara Model school & College, Milestone School & College, Uttara Model School and other educational institutions.

“We want to give them modern education as per student’s wish. Discipline is must in life.  So, there is option to learn islamic knowledge at hostel too,” Cakir added.

Many poor people in Bangladesh have no ability to educate their children from good or renowned educational institutions—so IFA trying to help them in providing better education free of cost, he said in reply to another query.

“We have no ability to educate all the poor student, but we are trying to expand our programme. It is just beginning. Now we are giving education some selected distress and poor students,” Cakir said.

The IFA is now operating its programme from Uttara.
