Khaleda pays homage to Zia on Nov 7 to mark ‘Solidarity Day’

Dhaka, November 7: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday paid her rich tributes to former president and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman on the anniversary of the uprising that brought him to power in 1975.

BNP commemorates the event as ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’.

BNP leaders along with secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir have joined her as she placed floral wreaths at the grave at capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar around 11:30 am Monday.

The BNP flag was hoisted at the party’s headquarters in Naya Paltan and the chairperson’s Gulshan Offices at dawn on Monday.

BNP and its affiliates also publishes posters and special supplements to commemorate the anniversary.
