Helicopter fell in accident during emergency landing

Pabna, October 01: A private helicopter fell in accident while emergency landing at Chatmohor in Pabna on Sunday afternoon, leaving one of its passengers injured.Zihadul Kabir, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Pabna, confirmed the news.

He said a helicopter, owned by Square group, from Dhaka tried to make emergency landing at a ground near Chatmohor Palli Biddut Samity due to bad weather. It fell on the ground as its pilot was hasty to land due to technical faults, leaving one of its passengers injured.

The back part and two fans of the helicopter were damaged partially in the accident, he added.

The five people boarded in the helicopter including its pilot were recovered and rushed them to Chatmohor Upazila Health Complex immediately, he said.

Bayezid Ul-Islam, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of the hospital, said Rubel Hossain, 27, one of the five people, sustained at his fingers. He was released after giving fist aids.
