Film directors ban actor Shakib Khan for indefinite period

2192 desk, April 29: Bangladesh Film Directors Association (BFDA) has banned actor Shakib Khan for an indefinite period over his ‘derogatory and defamatory’ media statements.

In a press release, the organization announced the ban on Saturday.

According to the ban, from now the actor will not perform in any kinds of film shooting and dubbing.

There were signatures of Bangladesh Film Directors Association president, general secretary, Film Editors’ Guild, Film fight directors association, Dance directors’ association, president of Film Directors’ Association and others.

Earlier, a legal notice had been issued by the association’s executive council over Shakib Khan’s comments.

Shakib Khan had opined that many directors of the Film Development Corporation spend time chatting instead of doing work.
