The former prime minister of the country condemned the attack on party’s senior leader. “There is no ward to condemn the attack,” she said.
Khaleda Zia came up with the forewarning in a twitter message in the afternoon.
“I don’t have words forceful enough to denounce the heinous, cowardly and shocking attack on BNP secretary general & other leaders,” she said.
She also said, “This is an attack on democracy, politics, human rights and indispensable tolerance. The consequences of this can’t be good at all.”
Earlier in the day, a group of miscreants vandalised at least five vehicles of a motorcade of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in Rangunia upazila of Chittagong district.
