Dhaka, June 04: Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will start sale of advance tickets of its special service on Tuesday, aiming to ease journey of Eid holidaymakers.Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader came up with the announcement on Monday after a meeting with the officials of BRTC and Depot managers at its head office in Motijheel.
The minister has also assured that the journey of Eid holidaymakers will be comfortable this time than previous occasions.
The ministry remains alert to ensure a comfortable journey. Necessary directives have been given to repair the roads damaged by rain. Hopefully, this year’s Eid journey will be comfortable than previous years.
He also urged all not to create panic about roads spreading misleading information.

BRTC will operate 904 special buses while 54 buses will be kept standby to meet emergency demand, he added.
