New Zealand beat Bangladesh by 59 runs in their first meeting in the World T20, Sri Lanka, 2012 and by 15-runs in Mirpur in November 2013.
Bangladesh eliminated from the race conceding three successive defeats in the super-10 stage against Pakistan, Australia and India respectively by 55-run, 3-wicket and 1 run.
The Bengal Tigers reached in the Super-10 stage as Group-A champion with unbeaten record while New Zealand got the direct entry.
The Tigers started their tournament campaign with 8-run win against Netherlands, shared match point with Ireland as the match at Dharamsala was washed out due to persistent rain and defeated ICC associate Oman by 54-run in the last match.
On the other hand, New Zealand have already confirmed their semifinal berth and maintaining the top slot in the table with three successive victories.
New Zealand started their campaign upsetting host India by 47 runs, denied Australia by 8 runs and Pakistan by 22 runs.
