Dhaka, February 8: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday alleged that Awami League (AL) wants to establish partisan rule instead of rule of law.
“The Awami League wants to establish partisan rule in the country instead of rule of law by filing fake cases against opposition men,” the party spokesperson came up with the allegation in a statement signed by assistant office secretary Munir Hossain after three Chhatra Dal leaders were awarded three years imprisonment by a Thakugaon court.
Mirza Fakhrul also expressed deep concern over the matter.
In the statement Mirza Fajhrul also said, “The imprisonment of the Chhatra Dal leaders proves that the government is stigmatizing last place of hope of the common people by keeping the gun at shoulder of the court.”
The ruling party is giving sentence to opposition leaders and activists if they raise voice against the enormous corruption and misdeeds of the government.
