6 Bangladesh nationals kill in KSA road accident


Dhaka: Six Bangladeshi workers were killed and another was injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Shahidul Islam and Babul, two sibling brothers of Ujirpur upazila of Barisal district, Rafiqul Islam and Sirajul Islam of Patuakhali district, Rana and Sharif.

Golam Moshi, Bangladesh ambassador to Saudi Arabia, confirmed the accident.

He said the accident took place when a car carrying the workers collided head-on with another car at Qatif town, 350 kilometres off the capital, Riyadh.
